Jackson County Sheriff’s Office holds annual Sheriff Story Time

VANCLEAVE, Miss. (WXXV)- Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office took time to visit with the community Thursday.

Deputies visited Vancleave Public Library for their annual Sheriff Story Time.

Deputy Carey read to the kids, afterwards the kids were introduced to K9 Sniper.

The kids also got to check out the K9 unit patrol vehicle.

Deputy Chief Randy Muffley was in attendance as well, meeting with the community, children, and their families.

The sheriff’s department says this is a great chance to meet the public in a fun way.
