Jackson County Sheriff’s Department welcomes new deputy

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is welcoming a new officer into their ranks.

Deputy Forrest Sherrod recently graduated from the Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy.

The sheriff’s department says this is an important milestone that represents weeks of hard work, discipline, and commitment to serving others.
