Jackson County School Board looking to fill vacancy

The Jackson County School District is looking to fill a board member vacancy for district four.

The district is looking to appoint these members during a special called board meeting on February 23.

The appointee will also serve until the first Monday of January 2027.

Board members help make critical decisions that impact the livelihood of school system employees and the economic wellbeing of the region.

All applicants must be a registered voter and a qualified elector in district four.
