Jackson County pursuit ends in Alabama

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says a Moss Point man is behind bars for refusing to pull over on East Highway 90 around 1 this afternoon.
Sheriff Mike Ezell tells News 25 the pursuit continued into Alabama on Highway 90 and ended in the Grand Bay area. The sheriff says the suspect abandoned his car, ran into the woods and was tracked by the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement and Mobile County Sheriff’s K9 unit in a home matching the mail and ID inside the abandoned car.
Drugs were found in the suspect’s vehicle.
