Jackson County offering Christmas tree recycling program

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-Jackson County’s tree recycling program is underway.

You can drop live trees off at five locations in Jackson County:

  • County rubbish site on Seaman Road in Vancleave
  • County recreation department on Ball Park Road in Vancleave
  • West Roads Department on Highway 609 and Washington Avenue
  • East Roads Department on Highway 63 in Moss Point
  • Jackson County Fairgrounds in Pascagoula

Remember to take all decorations and lights off of your tree before disposing of it.

This recycling program will be in effect through January 31 so there is plenty of time to get rid of your tree if you plan to keep it up for a bit.
