Jackson County man charged with sex crime against a minor
A Jackson County man turned himself into authorities yesterday to face a sex-crime charge.
29-year-old Jack Hart surrendered himself at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department substation on a warrant of molesting — touching a child for lustful purposes.
Jackson County officials say the charge stems from a November 22, 2022 incident at a home in Vancleave. The victim was a young minor child.
Hart was booked into the Jackson County jail. His bond was set at $250,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
