Jackson County fatal crash victim identified

Mississippi Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in an accident in Jackson County Wednesday afternoon.
Police say 66-year-old Larry Williams of Lucedale was killed in the crash that happened on Highway 63 southbound.
Williams lost control of his 2017 Nissan Altima and went off of the right side of the road, crashing into the back of an MDOT bucket truck parked on the ride shoulder with his emergency lights on.
An MDOT employee was outside of his truck trying to get into the bucket when he was hit and thrown to the right of the truck. The MDOT employee was taken to Mobile in critical condition.
