Jackson County fatal accident victims identified

Today the Mississippi Highway Patrol released the names of the two people killed in a collision yesterday in Jackson County.

Eighty-nine year-old Henry Germany and 87-year-old Rubby Nell Germany of Lucedale died after their vehicle was hit while attempting to cross Highway 63 northbound on Polktown Road. Another car traveling north struck the passenger side of the Germany’s vehicle.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
