Jackson County community gathers to remember Hurricane Katrina

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- Thursday night at the Sound Amphitheater in Gautier, the community gathered for Celebrate K20.

Celebrate K20 is an event to honor the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, a tragic event that devastated the Coast.

The event was filled with great music, people, and food.

Symbolism of the resiliency of the community here in South Mississippi, who have been able to rebuild and continue to thrive.

Vendors included Jackson George County Library, Emergency Management and sponsors included Ingalls, Singing River, Mississippi Power, and more.
