Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held Pascagoula-Gautier Superintendent Forum
A superintendent forum was held for the two finalists for the Pascagoula-Gautier School District Superintendent position.
Hosted by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, the candidates took turns answering questions about who they are and how they plan to grow the school district.
One of the candidates, Dr. Christopher Williams, is currently the assistant superintendent at the Ocean Springs School District.
The other candidate, Billy Ellzey, is currently serving as superintendent in the Kosciusko School District. Ellzey said, “The message I want to send is that I’m going to be here to be a leader that works together with everyone, works together with our staff. Hoping to keep everyone involved to make sure that we’re doing what’s best for the boys and girls in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District.”
Dr. Williams said, “I want to do what’s best for children and I want to unify this district, our staff, our teachers around a common goal of giving out students the very best educational experience possible.”
