Jackson County Blue Ribbon Fair returns to Pascagoula

The annual Jackson County Blue Ribbon Fair is back. For 101 years, the fair has been welcoming families and continues to grow bigger and better.

It has a little something for everyone. The fair opened Sunday and will be open every day through this Sunday.

Rides opened midday today. Tomorrow, kiddie land rides open earlier and it will be family night at the fair so all rides are reduced to one ticket.

Wednesday and Thursday all rides open midday.

On Friday, it will be Children’s Day at the fair so all rides are reduced to one ticket until 6 p.m.

Friday night is Midnight Madness with unlimited ride armbands from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. for just $20. Dawn Jones said, “We have two days of entering deals. On the first Saturday and Sunday and we have eight days’ worth of rides and food booths and things. It’s just a good time, family fun. No admission fee, never has been, and with the charter it never will be.”

Guests can also enjoy livestock exhibits, live entertainment, local vendors, and food trucks.
