Jackson County Animal Shelter offering $25 cat spays and neuters

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson County Animal Shelter and the Bissell Pet Foundation announce all pet cat spays and neuters for Jackson County residents will be $25 all year long.

This offer is only available for Jackson County residents.

The $25 price tag also includes rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Microchips are also offered.

Those interested can make an appointment online at snipms.com. A $30 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your spot.

$5 will be refunded as long as you don’t receive extra service and if you show up for your appointment.

Cats must be at least three months old and weigh three pounds.

There is no limit per household.

For residents of other counties, keep your eyes open. The Spay Neuter Impact project is working to include as many counties as possible in the future.
