Jack Lawson wins 3A State championship, SSC boys golf finished 2nd

Over in Bay St. Louis, St. Stanislaus freshman Jack Lawson winning last week’s 3A state championship for golf as a part of SSC runner up finish as a team at Sunkist Country Club in Biloxi.

Lawson shot a 75 and a 71 for a two-day total of 146 and was also named the Coast Player of the Year determined by his three lowest scores across the six major tournaments.

Lawson was featured as a WXXV Student Athlete of the Week back in April 2021.
