Jack Abraham named USM’s starting QB

Today, Coach Jay Hopson announced that incumbent starting quarterback Jack Abraham will once again be leading the Golden Eagles on Saturdays.

Despite leading the nation in completion percentage last season, Hopson left the door open for Tate Whatley to compete for the starting job during fall camp.

Just last week, Abraham was one of 49 players tabbed as a candidate for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
