J. Con Maloney Speaks at “Our Love Affair with Baseball” Luncheon

Guests from the Mississippi Hall of Fame continue to travel down to Biloxi to speak at the “Our Love Affair with Baseball” exhibition series.
Former owner of the Jackson Mets and Jackson Generals J.Con Maloney livened up the crowd with lots of laughs. Maloney was the guest speaker for the baseball luncheon series at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi. A couple of former Mets players were also at the luncheon.
Maloney talked baseball and told stories about the days when he was a ball-club owner. “I felt very comfortable here because they were baseball fans. And baseball is, like I said then, has been very good to me and I believe in giving back and I just enjoyed being here,” said Maloney.
WXXV is a proud sponsor of the luncheon. Next week’s guest speaker is baseball historian and published author Gary Sarnoff.
