“It’s just changed”: Job seeker talks about current job market

The Mississippi Department of Employment Security released the unemployment numbers from December 2023.

The unemployment number was just over 40,000 people and the rate was 3.3% in Mississippi.

In the entire United States, the unemployment number was just over six million people and the rate was 3.7%.
