Investigation continues into the death of Delta State student

Police are investigating the death of a Black college student found hanging from a tree on the campus of Delta State University in Mississippi.
The campus police chief says multiple agencies are looking into the Monday death of 21-year-old Demartravion ‘Trey’ Reed and that investigators initially found no evidence of foul play.
That hasn’t stopped rumors and speculation from spreading on social media.
The Bolivar County coroner has disputed online rumors that the student had broken limbs, saying examiners found no fractured bones or other evidence of an assault.
