International Inbound Tour Association

The Gulf Coast plays host for the very first International Inbound Tour Association.
ITTA is a marketplace for inbound tour operators and United States suppliers to plan travel for international visitors. The four day event is being held at the IP Resort and Casino and has already attracted over 200 people.
The summit also provides a variety of educational sessions on unique ways to boost tourism along the Coast. Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast Executive Director Renee Areng said, “We all have challenges. With only three official airlines and some of the challenges that we have internationally, they presented a panel today about the airport and the destination marketing organization working together to bring more business in which we’re actually doing here on the Coast, which is great.”
Attendees traveled as far as Ohio, California, and New York. Next year’s conference will be held in Oregon.
