Inmates complete workforce program in Stone County

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Stone County Sheriff’s Department shared news that some inmates have completed the Goodwill Workforce Development Program.

This is a 12-week course where graduates learn virtual reality job training, digital skills, and real-world skills to help them re-enter the workforce.

The sheriff’s department says these skills go beyond building a future, they also build confidence, discipline, and hope.
