Inkin’ the Coast comes back for 11th year in Biloxi

Inkin’ the Coast is back in Biloxi for its 11th year, ready to ink those that are getting a tat or touching up an old tattoo.

Two hundred artists from around the world have set up stations in one room at the Coast Coliseum, including some of your favorite artists from TV.

In addition to the tattoo festival, the organizers wanted to make the event not just about tattoo enthusiasts, but include family activities such as art vendors, a chance to buy merchandise, and bouncy houses for kids.

Inkin’ the Coast is open until 11 p.m. tonight and reopens Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. both days. Tickets are $25. Dr. Carl Blasphemy said, “The artists love coming in here, it also gives them a chance to also expand themselves outside their Instagram and Facebook, or Twitter followers. They get to actually meet the people and socialize. We were out at a local place here last night- a mermaid bar or something and we had a bunch of local people that saw us on actually your station and was asking a lot of questions and were very interested. So, these artists get a kick out of it, a shot of adrenaline for them to have so many people interested in what they are doing.”
