Ingalls Shipbuilding suspending production operations

Ingalls Shipbuilding is actively monitoring Hurricane Isaias.

Ingalls is suspending production operations at its Pascagoula facility effective 1 p.m. Friday. That includes 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th shifts. They are planned to resumed at 5 a.m. Saturday.

The shipyard will remain open to maintain critical functions and ensure the Navy ships under construction are secured.
