Ingalls Shipbuilding President speaks at Gulf Coast Business Council Meeting
Ingalls Shipbuilding hosted this month’s Gulf Coast Business Council meeting. Ingalls Shipbuilding President Kari Wilkinson was the main speaker.
Wilkinson is also the chairman of the board for the Gulf Coast Business Council. She will be ending her two-year term as chairman.
Kari Wilkinson has overseen the U.S. Navy’s Assault and Surface Ship programs and the division’s 11,000 shipbuilders.
Wilkinson has been recently elected to serve as president of the company’s Newport News Shipbuilding Division which will be in effect January 1st, 2025.
The meeting was closed to the public, but many from the business community were in attendance.
