Influx of crime in December in Gulfport

The holiday season has gotten off to a rocky start in Gulfport with six different shootings and aggravated assaults in the month of December.
Starting with December 1st, a shooting on F Avenue which later led to an arrest and a suspect charged with aggravated assault. Another shooting occurred on December 3rd on 6th Avenue, leading to an arrest with aggravated assault.
On December 5th, a home invasion and shooting on Artes Street left one man dead and the suspect is still on the loose.
A drive-by shooting occurred on December 13th on 45th Avenue. No arrests have been made.
A shooting on 43rd Avenue that happened on December 18th has three suspects in custody.
Today, the shooting on 20th street with still no suspects at this time.
