Increase in revenue at local businesses due to Cruisin’ the Coast

With more people traveling down for Cruisin’ the Coast events, local businesses have been seeing an increase in sales.

Coastal Daiquiri Bar and Grill is one of the businesses fortunate enough to have the space and be in the right location since it is near Highway 90. They have been seeing a lot of customers who have been staying across the street in campers or are parked along the beach showcasing their cars.

Bartender Blake Starita says they have been preparing all week keeping their second story open, making sure they have the best bands to play and enough food to make everyone happy. “It’s a family-oriented place. It’s good for all ages. Anybody can come and have a good time. We got daiquiri for the kids, daiquiri for the adults. Food for everybody. It’s just a really nice place to be outside and watch the cars, enjoy a good family time.”
