Inaugural Summer Fest
Looking for something to do this weekend? How about a new festival?
For the first time ever, a Summer Fest makes its way to the Coast this weekend at the Great Lawn in Biloxi. Hosted by Harrah’s Casino and the Blind Tiger, the festival will feature amusement park rides from Belle City Amusements.
The fair starts tomorrow and runs through August 18th, taking Mondays off.
Shay Smith with Harrah’s Casino tells News 25 that they were excited to bring a larger scale family event to the Coast. “The Great Lawn is known for having concerts, but we’ve never had a festival out here on the Great Lawn. So, we’re really excited to be introducing this for the first year. I think it is going to be a really great addition to the summer calendar for all of our guests.”
Admission to the grounds is free. Unlimited ride bands cost $25 on Saturdays and $20 for any other day that the festival is open.
