Inaugural Putting in the Pass Golf Tournament Friday

Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Putting in the Pass Golf Tournament on Friday.

The 18-hole tournament will be held at the Oaks Golf Club in Pass Christian. Putting in the Pass is a fundraiser that will allow the chamber to give back to the community through small business grants all while allowing members and the community a fun opportunity to network outside of the office.

Prizes will be awarded for the winning team, closest to the hole, and longest drive. There will also be door prize opportunities for all players. Long Beach and Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce Director Gabrielle Rose said, “This was a unique opportunity for the Pass Christian chamber. We wanted to do something different. With COVID we felt like this was a great opportunity to get a lot of people out in a safe outdoor environment and really promote our local businesses. The Oaks is a beautiful golf course, but it was an opportunity for us to do something new to fundraise for the community and for our local businesses.”

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. Teams will tee off at 8 a.m. There are a few spots available. Those interested can contact the Chamber of Commerce at 228-604-0014.
