Inaugural Juneteenth Gala being held in Moss Point

CROSS Inc. Executive Director Donna Joseph is in studio to talk about the upcoming inaugural Juneteenth Gala in Moss Point.

The Juneteenth Gala takes place at Pelican Landing Convention Center in Moss Point. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event begins at 5:30.

The Juneteenth Gala serves as the organization’s scholarship fundraiser, with the theme, “Promote the Vote.” Along with the speaker, the two scholarship recipients from Moss Point High School will share their messages on the importance of the vote, and how vital it is for African Americans to engage in the voting process.
