HWY. 57 BRIDGE CLOSED AFTER 18-WHEELER CRASH

An 18-wheeler pulling a tractor crashed into the steel bridge over Red Creek on Highway 57, just south of the Jackson-George County line. The crash happened around 7:30 Tuesday morning.

Highway 57 will be closed at the County Line until new bridge is built. Authorities urge the public to avoid the area.
