Humane Society of South Mississippi seeking donations for soup fund

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Humane Society of South Mississippi is asking the public’s help on donating to their chicken soup fund.

This is a way for thousands of sick and injured animals to receive care.

The Humane Society shares that $30,000 is the average amount they spend every month on medical care for animals.

That does not include the daily support that makes recovery possible, such as housing, food, administration, or operation costs.

HSSM says this gives animals a fighting chance when they need it most.
