Humane Society of South Mississippi holding free pet vaccine clinic

The Humane Society of South Mississippi will host a free drive-thru vaccination clinic on Monday, December 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is for all residents in the community who have cats and dogs.

Vaccines include DA2PP for dogs and FVRCP for cats as well as rabies vaccines. Microchips will also be available at no charge.

This event is for home-owned animals only, not for stray or feral animals.

This is a drive-up event and HSSM anticipates a large turnout so please be prepared to wait and prepare yourself with anything you may need during that time.

Pets will be retrieved from your vehicle by HSSM staff when it’s their turn. HSSM Development Director Katie King said, “A huge part of HSSM mission is to help keep pets and families together so it’s so important that we are able to provide these resources to our community to help people in need that need assistance getting their pets vaccinated or micro-chipped or anything they need to help keep their pets healthy and at home with them.”

The vaccine event will be in front of the shelter’s clinic.
