Human Trafficking Operation 806 completed

Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the completion of a human trafficking operation.

Attorney General Fitch said her office is committed to eliminating human trafficking and is focused on helping these victims in their road to recovery.

Operation 806, which was conducted in Southaven, led to one arrest and the recovery of five human trafficking victims.

Two search warrants were issued, led by the attorney general’s human trafficking task force and the help of federal, state, and local law enforcement.

The Center for Violence Prevention provided services and treatment to those victims recovered during this operation.
