Huge Veterans Parade Highlights Weekend in Biloxi

More than 1,900 marchers are scheduled to be a part of the Gulf Coast Veterans Day parade on Saturday in downtown Biloxi, and you’ll also be able to see a host of arts and crafts vendors and military displays in a “Red, White, and Blue on the Green” gathering on the Town Green.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. at the north end of Caillavet Street and will make its way to City Hall, where reviewing stands have been erected. Meantime, the Town Green festival begins at 10 a.m. and runs throughout the afternoon.

Elsewhere, there’s the Southern Kingfish Association National Championship tournament, with about 200 fishing teams gathering at the Point Cadet Marina this weekend, the Ron Meyers Christmas City Gift Show at the Coast Coliseum, “The Heiress” at Center Stage, and, yes, it’s Finally Friday in downtown Biloxi.
