Huge fire in Houston, Mississippi

An enormous fire today in Houston, Mississippi forced area schools to close early.
Flames broke out early this morning at a storage facility. As firefighters worked to put out the blaze, residents were urged to close their doors and windows and turn their air conditioning off because of the toxic smoke.
2.2 million pounds of polyfoam filling for furniture was stored in the old ceramic factory and thick, black smoke could be seen for miles. Officials say the chemicals in the polyfoam can irritate the throat and eyes. An area school district sent children home shortly after noon because of the smoke.
Houston, Mississippi is located in northern Mississippi in Chickasaw County.
