Howard Square tenants cannot find parking
The opening of a new breakfast place is giving nearby apartment residents a parking headache.
A resident of Howard Square luxury apartments on Howard Avenue called WXXV after we aired a story about the opening of the Toasted Yolk Café.
She said the residents were frustrated by café patrons parking in the limited spaces at the loft apartments and causing congestion.
The resident said she and others tried to contact the Toasted Yolk about the issue, but had little success.
The owner of Toasted Yolk said guests could find extra parking across the street from the restaurant at MGM Park when there isn’t a game, he told the Sun Herald on Tuesday. Parking also is available under the interstate nearby.
