Howard Avenue now open for use

Today, Downtown Biloxi looks a little different. Two years after a five year plan was laid out to revitalize the area, Howard Avenue is brand new and finally open to the public.

While the new section of Howard Avenue opened Monday, officials say the old section at Benachi has temporarily closed as contractors tie in lines from north of the CSX railway to south of the CSX railway.
