How to help Moss Point recover from the tornado

South Mississippi residents are no strangers to cleaning up after storms — and how to help those who are most affected.

Groups and organizations already are gathering supplies Moss Point residents will need as part of the cleanup efforts.

American Red Cross — Set up shelter at Pelican Landing conference center and distributing meals. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS if you need help.

Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief –-Assisting with tree removal and roof tarping. 228-761-6003

Moss Point Community Cleanup — Accepting donations of personal items, canned food, water, clothing. South 40 basketball near the Dog House

Convoy of Hope and Mercy Chefs — Distributing supplies by Convoy of Hope on Thursday.

City of D’Iberville —  Collecting bottled water. Drop off at D’Iberville Fire Department until 3 p.m. Friday, June 23
