Hospital Road in Pascagoula closure

Improvements to Hospital Road in Pascagoula began today, closing off portion of the road for several months.
Phase one begins today with the first road closure at the intersection of Hospital Road and Old Mobile Highway, expected to open back up Tuesday, September 12th. Phase one includes the replacement of underground utilities along with roadway and pedestrian improvements along Hospital Road between Old Mobile Highway and Tupelo Avenue.
Roadwork for the $3.2 million project is expected to last about eight months. Phase two, expected to begin in 2018, brings improvements to Hospital Road from Tupelo Avenue to Highway 90.
