Hook’em for Heroes Fishing Tournament returns this weekend
PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- New and returning anglers are invited to cast their lines and their support at the second annual ‘Hook’em for Heroes’ Fishing Tournament.
The tournament is a charity-focused event that honors and assists the region’s first responders and military families.
Hook’em for Heroes is more than just a fishing tournament. It’s a way of showing appreciation for those who safeguard our community.
This event is building upon the success of its inaugural installment in 2024. That tournament raised funds and spirits in support of those who serve our communities.
Participants can expect friendly competition as well as live music, local vendors, and community interaction.
Registration for the tournament ends on September 5 at 7 p.m. at the Captain’s Meeting Dinner. Fishing begins after 12:01 a.m. on September 6. Scales open at 3 p.m. on September 6 and stay open until 6 p.m. For more information, click here.
