Hook’em for Heroes Charity event returns to South Mississippi

We are talking about an event that brings the community together while giving back to some of the people who give so much to us.

The third annual Hook’em for Heroes charity event is coming up in September, supporting local first responders, veterans, and their families.

Joining us now to tell us more about the event, what people can expect, and how they can get involved is Ken Harshbarger.

The tournament kicks off September 11 with a captains meeting from 6 p.m. until 11 at Nine Toes Brewing Company.

On September 12, anglers can gather at the Pass Christian Harbor for a block party from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. with live music, food, drinks, prizes, and more. Scales open that afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
