Home struck by lightning in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-A home in the Latimer community of Jackson County was struck by lightning today.

That happening around 12:30 this afternoon. Jackson County Fire Protection responding to the incident.

The call comes after neighbors reported the smell of smoke at a home.

When crews arrived, no active fire was found and no injuries were reported.
