Holiday festivities at the Salvation Army Kroc Center

The Salvation Army Kroc Center had a lot of holiday festivities for the community to enjoy on Saturday.

Families were able to start their morning having breakfast with Santa provided by Waffle House and then take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

JZ 94.5 radio station partnered with the Kroc Center providing a free safety fair to encourage kids to get to know our first responders and explore their vehicles.

A Christmas market also took place throughout the event for those that needed gifts for loved ones. Kroc Center Director Danielle Emery said, “Everybody from the community, all of our vendors, it’s just an overwhelming support from everyone.”

JZ 94.5 Owner Michael Daniels said, “It just made sense for us to partner with the Kroc Center. Everything that the Salvation Army stands for coincides with what we’re doing. It’s really a match made in heaven. Always doing things for the community and giving back to the community. It was meant to be.”

The K and J Foundation was also there hosting their annual butterfly release and they also gave away a car seat.
