Highway 26 in Stone County closing to move 100-year-old building
A traffic advisory for motorists traveling Highway 26 in Stone County.
Highway 26 East in Stone County will be shut down from 1st Street to Flint Creek Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow.
An old building will be moved about four miles and both lanes will be needed to move it.
MDOT’s Thomas Muffler said the building is 100 years old and is being moved to the site of the new church where it will be renovated for future use.
