Highland Games and Celtic Fest celebrate 40 years
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Music Festival just celebrated 40 years here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Harrison County Fairgrounds was filled with guests as they enjoyed Scottish dishes, history, and games.
The event welcomed anyone wanting to come out and honor Scottish heritage with some fun. Activities included jousting, archery, unicorn rides, live music, and more.
The festival hosts Scottish clans, with each of them having ties back to Scotland.
The tradition is set to return to the Coast on November 14 and 15.
