High School Musical
It’s finally show time for the kids putting on “High School Musical” from the Wings performing arts program in Gulfport.
People started shuffling through the doors at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center at 7 p.m. to get seats for the musical. The kids acting in “High School Musical” have been practicing for weeks. But now, it’s finally show time.
The first show was tonight at 7. It will be the same time tomorrow night. There will also be a day time showing at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The cast and crew tells News 25 people should come see the musical not just because it is fun but because of its values. Metri Lions plays the part of Troy Bolton. He said, “It sends out a great message that you don’t have to stick with what people are telling you do to do. Break out and do what you want because you want to.” “The show is about finding out who you are and how embracing that makes you stronger,” said Wings performing arts director Lacey Jones.
Tickets are available at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center website or at the door.
