High School Football: Picayune Maroon Tide vs. Gautier Gators

So much for a championship hangover, Picayune still roll tide rollin’ right into the final week of the regular season with a perfect overall record of 10-0 and a district mark of 6-0.

But there’s only room for one unbeaten team in Region 4 Class 5A as Gautier comes to town with the same perfect mark of 6-0, winner-take-all for the district title.

Thursday night lights featuring the only two U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selections from the Coast, Picayune’s Dante Dowdell and Gautier’s Kayden Irving.

The Tide keeps it rolling winning this one 48-42, Region 4 Class 5A champs, what an effort from Gautier, make that 22 wins in a row for Picayune.
