High School Basketball: St. Martin vs. Vancleave

The St. Martin Yellow Jacket boys basketball team welcomed the Vancleave Bulldogs to town earlier this afternoon for a special kind of game.

This was not your average high school basketball game. The game tipped off at 1:30, during school hours, to allow students to attend the game.

St. Martin students packed the gym to see the Yellow Jackets take on the Bulldogs.

WXXV Sports Director Jevan McCoskey was at the game and says it was loudest and largest student section he’s seen here on the Coast.

Maybe a sign of things to come as football season comes to an end and basketball season picks up.
