High School baseball: Harrison Central vs. Petal

After starting 0-2 in district play, the Harrison Central baseball team ripped off seven straight league wins before losing out on a first round bye in its region 8 class 6A finale.

Harrison Central playing host to Petal in game one of the 6A playoffs tonight.  Harrison Central claims a 14-9 victory over the Panthers. They’ll be heading up to Petal for game two tomorrow night at 7.

Pearl River Central beats Forest Hill 18-0 in game one and 22-0 in game two. The Blue Devils will face West Harrison in the second round.

Resurrection Catholic beats the Noxapater Tigers 11-0. They hit the road for game two tomorrow at 6 p.m.
