High Diving Pirates of Gulf Island
Pirates have invaded Gulf Islands Waterpark in Gulfport.
Pirates walk the plank daily until Sunday, July 23rd in an action packed pirate show that has all the elements of exciting tales of the high seas. One of the highlights are pirates jumping off diving boards 80 feet high, hitting the water at speeds of up to 60 miles an hour while on fire.
If you survive the show, you can meet these raiders of the sea up close and personal after every show. Professional High Diver Clark Kocourek said, “This is the Pirates of the Caribbean High Diving Show. We start our show with comedy and some clown diving and go to more Olympic style and spring board and tower diving. We end our show with a grand finale high dive from over 80 feet in the air. At the last show of the day, I do a human torch fire dive where I light myself on fire and jump from over 30 feet into a ten foot pool.”
The show runs three times a day at 11:30, 1:30, and 3:30. Tickets are included with general admission into the waterpark.
