Heat for the Holidays winner receives new HVAC system

In Ocean Springs this morning, we were able to surprise one lucky couple with a new heating and air system for their home as part of our annual Heat for the Holidays giveaway.

The giveaway is now in its eighth year and our partners with Geiger Heating and Air will handle all the installation work for Janyce and Bruce Moles. They’ll receive a Day and Night HVAC system supplied by Ferguson HVAC.

The crew at Geiger says the past eight years have been so rewarding, especially ahead of the holidays and the Moles family was so surprised when they heard that knock on the door today. Brian Younger with Geiger Heating and Air said, “We’ve been in business since 1969. And that’s because of the community. We’re here. So, we have to give back to the community. That’s what makes it worth doing.”

Bruce and Janyce Moles said, “Oh, it was shocking. Are you kidding? And then to tell me that we won. Holy moly. It was great. We could already keep it 80 degrees and they’re on a hot summer when it was real humid. It was terrible. Let’s hope it’s cooler. I’m sure it will be a lot cooler.”

Installation of the Moles family’s new HVAC system will begin right after the new year.
