Hattiesburg Zoo welcomes two new residents
The Hattiesburg Zoo is welcoming two new residents this month.
Lulo the Kinkajou is four years old and can be found in the Africa section of the zoo.
He comes from St. Louis, normally native to Mexico as well as Central and South America.
A kinkajou is rarely seen by people due to nocturnal habits and living most of their lives swinging from trees.
Staff at the zoo do recommend, if you have difficulty finding Lulo just ask for ask.
Another new resident is Koni the Skunk.
Koni is 8 months old and comes from a wildlife rehab center.
He will serve as an ambassador animal for the zoo, assisting in outreach and education programs.
